ARTIST
Neath is a multidisciplinary artist whose practise has been in development and exploration since 2019. They are interested in creating stories and narratives throughout a range of mediums whether that be around the people and places she is working in, around her personal lived experience or from imagination. Neaths life as a queer, neurodiverse artist from a low income background enables a rich collection of experiences to draw upon. She has worked in movement direction, choreography, film, sculpture, song, game creation, photography, performance, producing, programming and aims to add to the list with every project she takes on. Neath has worked in museum and heritage settings, festivals, schools, galleries, community spaces, theatres, outdoors and site specific. Their work has been exhibited, performed and R&D including, but not limited to, places such as Scotland - The Glasgow Gallery of Photography and Edinburgh Fringe, London - Citizens Art London Gallery, Shoreham - Filming for ‘ALL THOSE THINGS’ and Rotherham - Clifton Park and Museum and ROAR. Community engagement, play and collaboration are at the core of Neaths practise and they often use workshops to establish whether an idea will be well received. Neath thrives on the interconnectivity between all living things, questioning and creating pieces inspired by the people and natural elements she meets and works with.
